We are a young couple from Baden Württemberg who met in October 2021. From the beginning, we share similar views on climate-related topics and have started to motivate each other. In the following we would like to introduce ourselves briefly from the respective "I-perspective".
Alex
I am 2 years older than Isabelle, work professionally as a software developer and, in addition to my "Bachelor Professional in Engineering", have previously undergone vocational training in the trades and have been able to gain several years of professional experience in the field of "electrical engineering". Accordingly, I am enthusiastic about electrotechnical and software topics related to sustainability.
The blog posts I write will primarily be about sustainable craft projects and semi-professional studies where I put my actions to the test in terms of sustainability.
Isabelle (Isi)
I originally come from southern Hesse and also went to school there. First, I graduated from a secondary school, but during that time I decided to start studying after my school career, so I spent another 3 years at a vocational high school. By the skin of my teeth, I passed my Abitur and then applied to the University of Heidelberg for a Bachelor's degree in Classical Archaeology and a minor in Egyptology. Since both subjects are free of admission, I was accepted quite quickly. After 11 semesters I had my bachelor's degree in my hand. After that I started a second study, a master study, in the same subjects, where I am now in the 3rd semester.
My posts will primarily cover the topic of Zero Waste and how you can incorporate more sustainability into your everyday life.
